The much-anticipated Season 2 returns with bigger cast and more controversial stories!

Charming plastic surgeon Alex Tan(Thomas Ong) is the man of the moment with his new-found fame as ” Doctor with Soul”. His best mate in college Win (Edmund Chen) returns home to assist him through a complicated surgery. Win soon becomes Alex’s partner at the clinic. Meanwhile, Win’s sister Joey(Phyllis Quek) , a bitter ex-model who is now a proud owner of an accomplished modeling agency, scouts Sky Tan (Julian Hee) as her new addition. Tension brew between Alex and Win when their professional ethics clashes, and when the latter begins to woo Kelly (Michelle Chia)…

Starring: Thomas Ong, Michelle Chia, Julian Hee, Zheng Wan Ling, Edmund Chen, Phyllis Quek, Cruz Teng

Story Sypnosis:

All will be perfect, if you can accept imperfection. And ever since Alex (Thomas Ong) understood the meaning of it, he and Kelly (Michelle Chia) began dating proper and are a loving couple despite their usual squabbling.

Alex’s clinic is also thriving and he has even earned himself the nickname ‘Doctor with a Soul’. All seems perfect until a particularly tricky reconstructive operation leads Alex to invite his good friend and competitor Win Cheong (Edmund Chen) to work with him for the operation.

After the operation, Alex even asks Win to be his partner in the clinic. His decision will unwittingly bring him unwelcomed changes to his clinic and his relationship with Kelly.

Win’s beliefs, love for challenges and Westernised ways are in contrast to Alex’s and although no damage has been done to the clinic and its reputation, they often leave Alex breaking out in cold sweat. Alex begins to doubt himself; is his judgment wrong or is he plain old-fashioned? Or have his decisions been swayed by Kelly’s beliefs? Win even laughs at him: to accept imperfection is already not perfect!

Kelly isn’t fond of Win either and is even disgusted at his bluntness and his belief that Kelly and himself are fated to meet. She puts up with him on Alex’s account but slowly learns to see Win’s merits. He even learns to eat spicy food because of her. Then, they learn that they have a common habit of gazing into the sea when they are unhappy!

They get closer and Alex is jealous. He fears he’ll lose his position as the Number 1 in the business and in Kelly’s heart…

Sky (Julian Hee), eager to prove himself, goes against Alex’s wishes and joins Joey’s (Phyllis Quek) modeling agency. She soon grows attracted to his innocence and sincerity. Win on the other hand thinks Sky is not good enough for his sister Joey.

Xiaoli (Michelle Tay) is happy but worried over Sky’s success. Will they drift apart, she wonders. Despite her uncertainty, she sticks by Sky for every minute of happiness with him.

Singleton Emily (Zheng Wanling) gets herself a Facebook account and meets Sean, a young boy looking for a girlfriend for his father Clement. Sean is full of disapproval for Emily; Clement on the other hand thinks she’ll be great taking care of children. But, Emily worries, is Clement looking for a wife or a maid?

Sean doesn’t want Emily as his stepmother and violently objects to her dating his father. How can Emily change his mind?

Alex preps himself to operate on a disfigured Sky but is unable to lift his scalpel. He eventually asks Win to take over the operation. Beaten, he makes his way to Kelly’s clinic but instead, they fight over Win and even break up!

The guy who was always Number 1 has now failed. The fall from grace proves too much for Alex to handle and he runs away. Will the Doctor with a Soul admit defeat this easily?
